Tracey and Gary
It’s always so special to photograph a couple who I have met at a previous wedding. I actually first photographed Gary when he was a groomsmen on his friends wedding day and I photographed Tracey, the same night, in a fun and crazy photo booth. I have also met many of their guests at previous weddings, which meant for me, I felt like I was hanging out with old friends. These photos have made me laugh, smile and cry all at the same time. I even needed a tissue or two while I was editing. I have kept the extra emotional images under wraps for Tracey and Gary to share with their family.
I was lucky enough to be a ‘fly on the wall’, witnessing the full emotion and story of their day. The connection between the bride and her father was immense and beautiful. It’s such a privilege for me, to have documented these moments that will hopefully be looked back on, in years to come. I always imagine children in 100 or 200 years time, rummaging through memorabilia and finding a wedding album of their Great Grandparents or Great Great Grandparents, and having an insight to their life and relationships. I know that whoever looks back on this couples wedding, will see the immense love and connection these two families have for one another.
